Kids joined us at the library yesterday for a fun-filled Graphic Novel Book Discussion! 📚
We explored the graphic novel Investigators and had a great time sharing our thoughts and ideas. Each participant got a chance to design their own undercover agent character disguise and present their creative ideas to the group.
We wrapped up the session with a pizza party, adding even more fun to our day! 🍕

The past two weeks have been filled with exciting programs, including themed Storytimes, our Little Sprouts science event, Financial Literacy Workshops for tweens and teens, and much more.
Our young patrons enthusiastically participated in all these events and activities. A special thank you to our teen volunteer, Jonathan, for hosting the three-session Financial Literacy Workshop with dedication and enthusiasm each week. We greatly appreciate his commitment to helping our tweens and teens build valuable financial skills.

Yesterday, our library hosted an educational session on financial literacy, led by teen volunteer Jonathan, for tweens and teens. Participants engaged in an interactive learning experience, exploring essential money concepts. Calling all tweens/teens in Grades 6 and up who would like to be babysitters- check out the upcoming Safe Sitter Program with Mid-Bergen Regional Health Commission! Saturday, June 13th at 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM

Safe Sitter® is an interactive, instructor-led course designed for students in grades 6–8 to prepare them to stay safe when home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Participants learn essential safety skills, child care techniques, first aid and rescue skills, and life/business skills needed to become confident and responsible babysitters. Hands-on activities and role-playing exercises help students practice responding to emergencies, caring for children, and building confidence in real-life situations. Some courses may also include CPR instruction.
