Hey boys and girls! Santa will be in town tomorrow and with the help of some of our firemen, he will be visiting the town of Shawangunk. Look out for the santa tracker which will be posted tomorrow morning. So you know what time to expect his visit.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Fire program may be attempting a prescribed burn at the Shawangunk Grasslands National Wildlife Refuge on Wednesday (April 23rd) of this week. The refuge driveway, parking area, and trails will be closed to public access on Wednesday and possibly Thursday as well. Thank you for your patience and understanding while our staff utilizes this valuable tool for maintaining the grassland habitat (photo: prescribed fire at the Shawangunk Grasslands NWR).

Parents! A small heads up... this is the path that Santa plans to take today! Be on the look out for the link for the Santa tracker to see where Santa is in real time. It will be posted around 11am. Santa plans to start his journey around noon!

Boys and girls! Santa Claus is coming to town! The Shawangunk Valley Fire Company will be escorting Santa on his sleigh as he visits around the district. He will be visiting on Sunday December 22nd and starting his travels around noon.

Stay tuned for the "Santa Tracker" that will be posted the morning of, to see the route of travel!
