🚒🔥 MELROSE TOWNSHIP FIRE & RESCUE IS LOOKING FOR YOU! 🔥🚒

Have you ever thought about becoming a Firefighter or First Responder and serving your community when it matters most?

Melrose Township Fire & Rescue is looking for dedicated people to join our team! You don't have to come to us with all the training—we offer PAID TRAINING to help you gain the skills and knowledge you need.

As part of our team, you may have the opportunity to:

🔥 Train and serve as a Firefighter
🩺 Provide First Responder medical care until a higher level of care arrives
🚗 Assist with vehicle extrication and rescue calls
🚒 Respond to emergencies throughout our community
🤝 Become part of a team built on service, teamwork, purpose, and pride

You don't have to know everything on day one. You just need the willingness to learn, train, show up, and serve.

🚒🔥 A Special Visit from Two Future Firefighters! 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒

Melrose Township Fire & Rescue had two very special little visitors stop by the station today! ❤️🚒

Jackie, granddaughter of Fire Chief Ben Mathers and First Responder Amanda Mathers, along with her cousin Noah, came to check out the fire trucks and see what the fire station is all about!

These two little firefighters-in-training had a great time exploring the trucks, sitting inside, checking out the equipment, and getting a glimpse of what it's like to be a firefighter! Of course, they had to look the part with their very own firefighter helmets! 🚒🧑‍🚒

It's always exciting to see the curiosity, smiles, and enthusiasm that little ones have when they get up close to fire trucks. Moments like these are a wonderful reminder that the fire service is more than just responding to emergencies. It's also about family, community, making memories, and inspiring the next generation.

Who knows? Maybe one day we'll see these two following in the footsteps of their family and serving their community! ❤️

🚒🔥 EXCITING NEWS FOR MELROSE TOWNSHIP FIRE & RESCUE! 🔥🚒

Today is an exciting day for Melrose Township Fire & Rescue as we will be bringing home our NEW Mini-Pumper Brush Truck (Brush 5531) from Spencer Manufacturing, Inc. ! 🚒

This new addition to our fleet is an important investment in the safety of our community and the firefighters who proudly serve it.

Our new Brush 5531 will help strengthen our department's ability to respond to brush fires, grass fires, wildland fires, and other emergencies where a smaller, more maneuverable apparatus can make a difference.

🚨 What does this mean for our community?

It means improved capabilities, greater versatility, and another valuable tool to help us protect lives, property, and the community we call home.

We would like to extend a special thank-you to everyone who helped make this addition possible, including our township officials, department members, and the community for their continued support.

We also want to thank Spencer's for their work on our new apparatus!

We are excited to welcome Brush 5531 home and look forward to putting it into service to better serve Melrose Township and our surrounding communities.
