Come on down to the end of Arlene Lane for the annual Parkmead Community Association Summer Block Party on Saturday, August 23rd at 4p-7p!!

We’ll once again have a *FREE* taco bar, drinks, and ice cream/popsicles for all neighbors who have paid their dues! Returning this year: the watermelon contest!! We’ll have fun activities for the kids, plenty of socializing with our dear neighbors, and music to enjoy as we send off an epic summer.

New this year - Stop by our Parkmead History and Info station to learn about our community - you are welcome to bring a piece of history to share!

BYO Favorite Hot Sauce to share with friends. We’ll have tables and chairs but feel free to bring a camp chair for guaranteed seating. There will be a port-o-potty as well!

Please have your dues paid for the year by going to Parkmead.org - if you pay at the party, cash will expedite your check in.

This event is always a great time - we look forward to seeing you there!

Earth Day Clean-up this Saturday!

Show your love for the earth by joining the Parkmead Community Association and Tice Creek PTA for our annual Earth Day clean-up to brighten our neighborhood and the Tice Creek School/Parkmead campus!

Meet on Saturday, April 26th at 9am-11am at the entrance to Tice Creek School.

We'll provide coffee, juice and donuts, you provide the enthusiasm and effort to help beautify our area!

Learn to be Earth Friendly! For the first 30 minutes we'll have special presentations on beekeeping, raising backyard chickens, and composting!

We'll provide cups, gloves, trash pickers and yellow vests, but please feel free to bring your own in case we run out!

Please join us at Tice Creek Elementary at 9am-11am on Saturday, April 20th. We’ll head out from the school parking lot on pick-up routes that will hit the highest litter areas, including Olympic, South Main, Tice Creek and Parkmead Schools. The event is fun for the whole family, an opportunity to heighten our environmental awareness, and a chance to let our Parkmead neighborhood pride shine.
