WCPD and City staff had the privilege of serving as Guardians of the Flame as we escorted the Special Olympics Torch, known as the Flame of Hope. We received the torch from Concord and Pleasant Hill PD and our team carried it roughly 3.5 miles, traveling from Pleasant Hill to Broadway Plaza, where we proudly passed it on to Danville PD.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run continues to play a vital role in raising both funds and awareness for Special Olympics, supporting athletes across our communities. Shoutout to our Walnut Creek team who did an amazing job! We're looking forward to next year and continuing to support this great cause!
