At the August 18 City Council meeting, a certificate of recognition for earning an outstanding score of 701 at their May Regional Competition was presented to Laura Patch on behalf of the Diablo Vista Chorus.

This milestone not only earned them the title of Regional Champions and a place at the International Competition in Seattle in 2027, but also made them the first chorus in our Pacific Shores Region to ever surpass the 700 mark.

Both the directors and singers have now earned the distinguished ‘Master 700’ designation.

Earlier this summer, the chorus also celebrated its 70th anniversary, marking seven decades of musical excellence.
