The Union Center Theo Volunteer Fire Department is proud to announce the purchase of a new set of battery-operated TNT Rescue Jaws of Life equipment to better serve our community.
This investment enhances our emergency response capabilities by providing powerful, portable rescue tools that allow our firefighters and rescue personnel to perform vehicle extrications more efficiently and safely. The battery-operated system offers greater mobility, faster deployment, and increased versatility during emergency situations, helping us reach and assist victims when every second matters.

On April 22nd at approximately 2:06 PM, the Union Center Theo Volunteer Fire Department and Kossuth Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to County Road 638 for a woods fire.

Upon arrival, fire department personnel worked to slow the spread of the fire. Assistance was received from the Spout Springs Volunteer Fire Department. Mississippi Forestry was also requested to plow a containment line around the fire.

All units returned to service after operations were complete.
