A special thank you to Barn Quilts by Tammie for making the trip to Walnut and spending the day teaching, encouraging, and guiding everyone through the painting process. We are grateful for your expertise and for helping make this workshop such a fun and memorable experience.

NEW THIS SUMMER AT THE WALNUT LIBRARY!

We now have family passes that can be checked out for FREE admission to the NIABI ZOO and THE PUTNAM MUSEUM!!

Stop by the library for more information.

Niabi Zoo pass includes admission for 2 adult, 2 children and parking!
The Putnam Museum pass offers 5 general admission and Science Center Tickets.

Log onto their websites to check out all the fun events happening this summer including DINO DAYS at the Putnam Museum and BREAKFAST WITH GIRAFFES at the Niabi Zoo!

🚨🚨🚨IMPORTANT WEATHER UPDATE🚨🚨🚨

The library serves as a safe place for community members to seek shelter during severe weather.

If a tornado warning is issued while the library is open, any children attending library programs without a parent or guardian present will remain at the library until the warning has expired and it's safe to leave.

We encourage parents and guardians who are in the building to remain at the library as well. However, that decision will be left to each family based on their individual circumstances.

The Lunch Bites Math Splash and 3rd-5th grade Harry Potter Wands program WILL run as scheduled.

The Jr. High Selfie Scavenger hunt will be rescheduled.

The Harry Potter Wands & instructions will be put into take home kits for those who are registered and unable to attend today's program. The Rocket Launch will be postponed for one more week until the sunshine can stay out!
