The borough office has been receiving calls about the sign on Main Street. That is a PennDot road and a PennDot project. I am sharing the information PA State Rep. Zach Mako posted on his page about the project. This is the only information our office has at this time. If and when we receive more information we will share that information with your.

🚧FYI🚧: My Slatington office has received multiple phone calls regarding construction signage near the Main Street bridge that spans the Lehigh River and connects Slatington and Walnutport.

PennDOT will be completing structural reinforcement work on the bridge starting Monday, Aug. 3. All work will be done at night and is expected to last a week. There will be no traffic redirection, however, during work hours, the bridge will be reduced to one lane with workers flagging traffic through on both sides.

I found this on another page...for all of you asking when and where the yard sale is this weekend in The Borough of Walnutport...I am only passing along what I am finding.

Please remember to obey all traffic laws since there will be a lot of extra traffic in the borough during this time. Watch for people crossing the streets where they normally do not cross. Stay safe and have a safe weekend.
