✨ Client Spotlight: Rebecca ✨

Rebecca, a single mom of two young children, came from Fall River to Marlborough and filled a 15-foot truck with furniture and home goods for her new apartment!

Despite the long drive, Rebecca said it was absolutely worth it because she was able to find everything she needed to help her family get settled into their new home.🏡

It was a joy helping Rebecca and we’re wishing her and her children all the best! 💕

🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Mark 🌟

Mark has been volunteering with New Life Furniture Bank's Marlborough team since last fall, helping deliver furniture and home goods to local families.

His favorite part is seeing the happiness on families' faces when a truck full of furniture arrives at their home! Along the way, he's also built some great friendships with fellow volunteers.

As a bonus, all that lifting has helped him get stronger — and has improved his golf game! ⛳💪

A heartfelt thank you to the Missionary Franciscan Sisters for their generous donation of furniture and home goods from their Newton convent! 🙏

A team of six volunteers from New Life had the honor of visiting the convent to receive these meaningful items as the Sisters prepare to vacate the building.

These pieces carry a rich history. Their legacy of service will continue through the homes of local families creating fresh starts and building new memories. 💛

Our Kitchen Starter Kits Help Turn Apartments Into Homes 🏡

A laundry basket filled with practical everyday items reduces the financial burden of starting out in a new apartment and helps families transitioning from homelessness find stability.

Our volunteers assemble these Kitchen Starter Kits to provide some essential items to families for cooking, dining, and everyday living. The goal is simple: the family can cook a meal on their very first night in their new home. 💜

• Donate: Drop off gently used kitchen items at our Walpole or Marlborough warehouses on Saturday mornings or by appointment.
• Volunteer: Help organize and assemble complete kitchen kits.

A huge thank you to volunteers from Wellesley Hills Congregational Church for assembling and donating 32 Kitchen Starter Kits during Lent. 💜

These kits provide families with essential items for cooking, dining, and everyday living, with one simple goal: helping a family cook a meal on their very first night in their new home.

We’re incredibly grateful for the kindness and support from our community and for people who continue showing up for families in such meaningful ways.
