A Special Family and a Magical Place: The Story of Grover Cronin Department Store

Thursday, April 16, 7:00 p.m.
Lyman Estate, 185 Lyman Street, Waltham, MA

For more than 100 years, Grover Cronin Department Store on Moody Street was the destination for shoppers around Greater Boston. Employing hundreds of local residents, Cronin's was a pioneer in the field of merchandising and generously supported the community in a myriad of ways. Based on recently donated archival material to the Waltham Historical Society, this program will tell the story of the Cronin family and the store that played an integral part in the lives of generations of Waltham residents. Join us for this visual talk with local historian Jack Cox in the Lyman Estate ballroom.
