Summer program is in full swing. This week on Tuesday I had 14 youth from the Diabetes Prevention Center and one youth that joined us from Walthill. The kids did a variety of projects. They divided into twos to read chosen books and then shared with Miss Nola about the book, and what type of hat the character wore. One of the art projects was a 3 cornered hat like the one George Washington wore. Of course I wore my red derby hat!

Our summer theme at the Walthill Public Library is "Celebrate America." We are partnering with the Omaha Nation Diabetes Prevention Center summer program again this year.
