I'm a an educator and a dedicated public servant, I've worked in the business community in human resources as a manager, where I was responsible for the training of employees, administration of benefits, and budgeting. The protection and security of our most important private and public documents is the single most important job of the County Clerk's Office. People need to have readily available p
roof of ownership of their homes, people need to be able to look up and research businesses in the area to make sure they are legitimate. All of these records, and many others, are critical to the residents of the county and critically important to properly protect. My plan is to expand online services that would be available to county residents around-the-clock, making the documents available to you when needed and when it's convenient for you. Madison County is huge and I fully appreciate the fact that it's difficult and costly for residents and the business community to travel to the Clerk's Office to do routine business. One of my goals is to implement mobile County Clerk services in various areas of the county on a routine schedule, bringing us to you. There is very little difference between the demands of the county clerk position and my current position with the Board of Elections. I am presently charged with protecting important documentation and making it available immediately upon request. I am personable, I am friendly, I have a long and positive record of experience in customer service in both government and private employment. I am educated to and experienced in employee management, document preservation and the technology necessary to meet the demands of the job. I completely understand and embrace the need for the implementation of the most recent technological advances in this process provided that they serve two functions and meet one need: preservation and ability to provide needed documentation, without driving consumer fees up. It is my absolute passion to conduct business in the best prescribed manner while understanding the necessity to save taxpayer dollars.
