We returned the favor of mutual aid to Oakhurst Independent Hose Company No. 1 last night as Chief 66 and Engine 75 responded to the north side of town for a trailer fire with exposure to the residence.

The fire was quickly extinguished with no extension to the house.

It has certainly been a busy summer so far and as always, we appreciate and look forward to working with our mutual aid partners.

🔥 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 🔥

This afternoon, our Company responded to a reported residential structure fire on Bryan Avenue. Upon arrival, the assignment was upgraded and the box alarm was filled after smoke was confirmed coming from the building.

Our Company, assisted by our mutual aid partners, conducted an aggressive fire attack, quickly extinguishing the fire.

Simultaneously to this fire, we were dispatched to a second reported fire at a residence in town. Allenhurst Fire Department and Neptune Uniformed Firefighters - IAFF Local 2691 handled this call for us, which turned out to be a non-event.

Great job by all Companies who operated! We appreciate your assistance.

Wickapecko Drive is currently closed. Avoid the area.

The festival will be closed tonight due to the rainstorms! The fireworks scheduled for tonight have been postponed to Sunday night, 8/9 at 9:00 PM, following the Moroccan Sheepherders concert! See you tomorrow!

🔥 𝗠𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗶𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 🔥

7/31/26: Chief 66 and Engine 75 responded to Freehold Township for a multiple alarm fire in a trash collection warehouse at FCI. Crews operated for several hours before being released by command.

A great job by everyone involved during this extremely complex incident.

🔥𝐌𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 🔥

7/29/26: Engine 75 responded to Upper Freehold Township on the Tanker Task Force assignment for a 2 alarm structure fire. The Engine was reassigned with Neptune City Fire Department to provide regional coverage for the area until units cleared.

7/29/26: The Chiefs, Engines 73 and 75 and Fire Police responded to a structure fire in the Oakhurst section of town. Engine 73 established a water supply while crews assisted with fire suppression.
