This would be a pretty cool thing to show the Cubs...

Big solar storm should cause the aurora to be visible as far south as North Carolina on Wed night and Thursday. You'll need clear skies and to be away from light pollution, which means those in New York City may not see but Long Island and elsewhere could. Areas in the highlighted zone may be able to see it tonight. We'll post of it becomes widely visible
