As we sit patiently waiting on the state to sign off on one more building inspection, we are going through this place with a fine tooth comb to make it the best it can possibly be for all of you. We are adding to every room while we wait. We are getting just as antsy as everybody else. And we want to show you exactly why we started what we started.

So take a look at the video.

This is our Gaming Room, where every age can come play their favorite game. Three Xboxes, three PlayStations, five Nintendo Switches, five Meta Quest headsets, and the NEX Playground. Hundreds of games in stock. This one is going to be a huge hit and we mean it when we say all ages. Young, old, and everybody in between. We cannot wait to open these doors and show you this room in person.

And we have news.

We just booked our first birthday party. Real kid, real date, on our calendar. That one got us, because this is exactly what we built this building for.

So the calendar is open to everybody now. Fifty dollars down holds your date. That is it. The fifty comes right off your total, it is not an extra fee, and it is refundable up to two weeks before the party. Any date in 2026 or 2027. Weekends will go first, they always do, so if your kid has a birthday coming, lock it in before somebody else takes it.

Every package comes with a dedicated host and the food is already in the price. No surprise pizza bill at the end.

Message us and we will get your date on the calendar.

We heard you, Wapakoneta. We are here to serve this community.

There comes a time where action speaks louder than words. So here is the building. No filter, no AI, no stock photo. Shot this tonight, flown room to room, one take.

That is the trampoline park. That is the jungle gym. Those are the air conditioners running.

I said I was going to do every one of those things and every one of them is done.

Here is what actually happened, since apparently nobody thought to ask.
The truck carrying my equipment showed up five days late. Five. It landed two days before the ribbon cutting. That timing is what cost us the safety inspections, because you cannot inspect equipment that is still sitting on a trailer in California.

So on the 25th I opened the doors and did not take a dollar from anybody. Free. The whole town. I was not going to charge a family to walk through a building where their kids could not play yet. Some of you thought that was funny. I thought it was the only honest thing to do.

Since then we have been doing one thing, chasing inspections. The city has signed off. The state is the last box.
And I am not going to stand here and promise you a date I do not control.
What I will tell you is what I am doing about it. I am on the phone with the state every single day. Paperwork goes back the same hour it comes in, not the next business day. I have paid for every review, every revision, every professional they told me to bring in. If there is a faster way through that process, I have already asked about it, and if one opens up tomorrow I will take it.

The second that clearance lands, I post it here. Same hour. Not a countdown, not a teaser, just open. And if it slips, I will tell you that here too, on the same day I find out, instead of letting you hear it from a Facebook group.
That is the deal. You get the truth from me either way.

Now the part I am actually going to say out loud.
The second something looks shaky, people show up to feed on it. That is not new. What is new is how many of them are people I have never met. Not once. Not a phone call, not a handshake, not five minutes in a room. Six people I could not pick out of a lineup, running a thread about my character.

The rest is one incident from two years ago told with about thirty percent of the facts, or a former employee who was terrible at the job and got let go, same as the last five places that let them go.
If you have a problem with me, my building, or how I run it, the door is at 10 W. Auglaize. It is unlocked and I am here almost every day. Come tell me to my face. Ask me the hard question. I will answer it standing in front of you and I will not need a keyboard to do it.
Not one of them will. That is the whole thing right there.

I built this for my kids first. Addy, Dash, Zayne. A sixteen year old, a fourteen year old and a three year old under one roof, and nowhere in this town to take all three at once. That is not a marketing story, that is my house. Everything in this building came out of that problem.

We heard you, Wapakoneta. We are here to serve this community and we want to see downtown Wapak thrive. That does not change because a Facebook group had a bad night. I am not going to trade insults with people who have never once stood in front of me. I do not need to. The building speaks and so does the work.

The equipment is in. The building is done. We are waiting on one signature, and I am not waiting quietly. I am here anytime. I know who I am and I know those who know me also are okay with who I am and I also know when I lay down at night my kids and my wife know who I am and how hard I work for them and most importantly I know God is looking down seeing all the hateful people with Bible versus in their bio being hateful to a stranger while I’m sitting here helping strangers. That’s the difference between me and them.

What a day, Wapakoneta.

The ribbon is cut. The doors opened. And this town showed up in a way we will never forget. Thank you to Lindsey and the Wapakoneta Area Chamber of Commerce for making it official with us.

We made a decision yesterday. Since we were not 100 percent ready to let kids on the equipment, we turned the whole day into a free day for the entire city. Free walkthrough, free pizza, free drinks. Nobody paid a dollar and the building was full of exactly the people we built this for.

Here is why we are taking a couple extra days. Every tie, every strap, every bolt on that equipment is getting done right. No skipped steps, no shortcuts. When your kid climbs on something in this building, it is going to hold. We would rather be late than be sorry, and we will make that trade every time.

The plan: we open Tuesday, July 28 at 9 AM, as long as the safety inspector can get here and clear every piece of equipment. We will know more Monday and we will post the second we do.

Some of you wondered if the real thing would measure up to the pictures we had previously posted to show our vision. Fair. Yesterday you got your answer. More than one person told us to our face it looks ten times better than the pictures. These photos are real, taken yesterday. Action always speaks louder than words.

To everyone who walked through those doors, and to our Founding 100 families who bet on us before there was anything to see, we are going to deliver on everything we said. This building is for every person, 1 month old or eighty three years old, and it is going to feel like home to EVERYONE.

TOMORROW IS THE DAY, WAPAKONETA.

The Family Hub Landing Zone opens Saturday at 1:00.

We worked with the Chamber of Commerce on this one and they had a great idea. Cut the ribbon and open the doors at the exact same moment. So at 1:00 the ribbon comes down and you walk straight in.

Now for the Founding 100 members who have already signed up and paid, arrive at 12:30. You get the VIP tour and you are the first families to ever walk this building. You believed in this before you could see it. Tomorrow you see it first!

If you are still on the fence about joining the Founding 100, Show up at 12:30 too. I will personally walk you through everything that has changed in just the last two days. Come see it for yourself, then decide!

10 W. Auglaize St., downtown Wapakoneta.
12:30 for Founding 100 and anyone deciding.
1:00 ribbon cutting and doors open for everyone.

We are giving one Wapakoneta family a free Hive Date Night every month for a WHOLE YEAR. Twelve date nights, on us. Each month your kid plays here at The Family Hub Landing Zone with our certified staff, one staff member for every two kids, while you two get your evening back. You pick the night, Friday between 5:00 and 9:00 or Saturday between 5:00 and 11:00, book whatever's open that month, and it's free. About $64 of value EVERY SINGLE MONTH!

Here's the part that keeps this fair for everyone. Your free night each month is subject to availability and never bumps a paying family. Date Night runs six slots an hour, so there's real room, but the popular nights fill fast. Book early in the month and you get your pick.

HOW DO YOU ENTER? You come see us. In person, that's the only way in. Our doors are open all Moonfest weekend. Walk in, say hi, and your name goes in the drawing. No purchase, you just have to show up.

We draw the winner LIVE at our ribbon cutting, Saturday, July 25 at noon 🚗⌚️

The first 100 families lock in a $99 a month lifetime rate. Scan the QR before the 100 fills up.

Wapakoneta, we are opening our doors TOMORROW.

Thursday, July 16, The Family Hub Landing Zone is welcoming Moonfest visitors and anyone downtown to come inside and see what we have been building. The building is still getting dressed for the grand opening, but we are not making you wait to look. Come in. Ask us anything. Walk the space. This could be the town’s first real look inside, and if you have been watching this page waiting to see it, this is your moment. Come see it in person.

We have got promos running, so do not miss it.
Here is what is landing with us.

Zero Gravity Fitness. A full gym inside the building, built for parents who want their workout back. Kids play, you train. That is the whole idea.
Elevated by Elyse. Elyse’s space is live inside the Hub, and if you know her work, you already know.
First Steps Dance Hub. Dance classes for the little ones are coming to the building, led by Diane. Watch this page for enrollment details.
And the Voice Vault is officially finished and ready. A fully set up recording studio right here in downtown Wapakoneta. Record your own podcast, be a guest on one, lay down music, whatever you want to create. We built it so you can walk in and hit record. We are here to support it.

While kids play, parents get their time back. That is what this building is about. We heard you, Wapakoneta. This is something we have been wanting since we bought this building.

Check out every amenity you will have access to at thelandingzonewapak.com.

The first 100 families lock in a lifetime member discount at $99 a month. Grab your spot before the 100 fills up.

Doors open tomorrow, Thursday, July 16. Grand opening Saturday, July 25 at 1 PM, ribbon cutting at noon.

See you downtown.
