We would like to extend a huge thank you to Officer Alcazar and the Wapato Police Department for spending the day with us at the Wapato Middle School Career Expo!
Officer Alcazar was genuinely engaged from start to finish bringing energy, humor, patience, and professionalism to every interaction. He demonstrated various skills, answered what felt like hundreds of student questions, and made a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Our students were excited, curious, and inspired, and that is thanks in large part to the time and effort Officer Alcazar invested today. We are incredibly grateful for his willingness to connect with our students and make learning about careers in law enforcement both meaningful and fun.

Thank you again for your support of our school and our students, we truly appreciate it!

Chief Craig Janis and Officer Tinajero recently hit the pavement to proudly carry the Flame of Hope in the Special Olympics torch run. Showing up for our community goes beyond the badge—it's about supporting these incredible athletes and cheering them on every step of the way! 💙🏃‍♂️🔥

Huge thanks to Camas Elementary for hosting such an inspiring Career Day! Officer Tinajero had a wonderful time sharing what it means to serve and protect, and talking with the bright young minds about their futures. He told the students that they are the future leaders, artists, teachers, and yes-maybe even future officers! Our message was simple: work hard, be kind, and never stop dreaming big. The future is incredibly bright for these kids!
