🚨Today is EMSC Day!🚑👶
The gut wretched & heart felt call that nobody wants to ever hear, yet EMS providers still respond understanding the probable psychological impact on their own lives.
EMTs & Paramedics want to be overly prepared for calls where children are involved.

EMSC Day focuses on the specialized physiological and psychological needs of pediatric patients during emergencies.
It centers on three key initiatives:
Honoring Clinicians: Recognizing EMTs and paramedics with specialized pediatric training.
Pediatric Readiness: Ensuring emergency departments and prehospital systems have appropriate, child-sized equipment and protocols.
Educational Outreach: The EMSC Innovation and Improvement Center (EIIC) highlights clinical updates, such as their featured prehospital webinar on evidence-based spinal motion restriction for children.
