What began with the single purchase and renovation of a local social service center in 1978 and, later, the development of the first completed and occupied housing project funded under the New York State Housing Trust Fund Corporation, now stands as a comprehensive organization founded on the development, restoration and renovation of brick-and-mortar structures, each of which embodies Community Services Programs, Inc.'s steadfast dedication to supporting those in need and community members, at large. In a testament to the ongoing commitment of its volunteer founders and concurrent ideals of its active Board of Directors and staff, who, collectively offer more than 100 years of experience in development and housing management, CSP remains under the leadership of its first director, Chief Executive Officer M.T. O’Leary, after having initially operated solely with volunteers for more than a decade.
