“What if my kids won’t sit still?”

It’s one of the questions I hear most often before a family session.

My answer?

I hope they don’t.

I don’t expect children to sit perfectly still or smile on command. I expect them to be curious, playful, a little silly, and completely themselves.

Some of my favorite photographs happen in the moments you can’t plan- the giggles, the running, the games, the cuddles, and the way your children naturally reach for your hand.

Those are the moments that tell your family’s story.

So when you book a session with me, don’t stress about having “perfectly behaved” kids.
