We have activities for everyone, including organized sports for youth and adults, fishing derby and many many more fun and safe activities that promote physical activity and sportsmanship. Ward Parks and Recreation is a department within the City of Ward, and is overseen by Parks and Recreation Director, Michelle Fitzgerald.

The City of Ward Annual 4th of July Celebration is coming on Saturday, July 4th at 6 PM. Join us as we go BIG to celebrate the 250th anniversary of our great nation! Carnival rides, foam party, water slides, live music, vendors and of course, the Firework Show!!

The 23rd Annual Youth Fishing Derby was a great success! We had 170 kids registered, over 137 lbs. of catfish weighed in, & the grand prize winner had a record weight of over 10.5 lbs.! Thank you to all the families that came out and made this event so special.
