We are so excited to share that Warden's very own Cameron W. will be sworn in as "chief" representing Warden. Congratulations, Cameron!πŸŽ‰

The 22nd Annual Grant County Chief for a Day will happen on Thursday, June 11, at 11 a.m. on the front lawn of the Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata.

Chief for a Day is about uplifting the lives of children who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening or chronic medical condition. The mission is to provide these children with a day of fun they will never forget and to become a part of their precious lives.

It is the mission of Chief for a Day to help these children and their families forget about their illness, even if only for one day.

On the day of the event, the little chiefs attend a ceremony where they are sworn in as "Chief" for the day. After the swearing-in ceremony, the little chiefs and their families get to experience a day of fun, food, and demonstrations by local public safety agencies.

Join us on June 11 as we continue this tradition of love and support.

Yesterday, Warden High School students stepped into the role of teachers, leading hands-on STEM activities for elementary students during the annual STEM Fair. From circuits and magnetism to gravity, heart rates, and tornadoes, students explored science through fun, interactive learning experiences.

Presented bilingually, the event showcased the leadership, knowledge, and creativity of our high school students while inspiring younger learners to imagine their own future in STEM.

A big thank you to our students and staff for making this day of curiosity, collaboration, and Cougar pride possible! πŸΎπŸ’™
