This week members of the Osage Fire Protection district visited Blair Oaks Elementary, St Stanislaus, and St Francis Xavier schools to teach the 1st and 2nd Graders about Fire Safety.

We utilize the Fire Safety Trailer that the Cole County Chiefs Association owns. This trailer is a great asset because we are able to promote the same messages throughout each class and school.

We would like to take this opportunity again to thank the many donors that made this trailer possible.

A special thank you to those who answer the call. Often, gratitude is expressed to first responders at the scene, but rarely do people think of those who initially took the call for help. Were they considering those who mobilized resources to provide timely aid? OFPD would like to recognize and thank those who answer the call, facilitating assistance at the earliest stage.

REMINDER: U.S. Route 50 and several trilevel ramps in Jefferson City are set to close from 9 p.m. on April 10, 2026, to 9 p.m. on April 12, 2026, for the demolition of a no-longer-used bridge.

The Osage Fire Protection District would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the St. Stanislaus/St. Margaret Pro-Life Group for providing wonderful homemade snacks and beverages for tonight’s business meeting. We would also like to thank Monsignor Cox for offering a special blessing over our firefighters.

We truly appreciate your kindness and support in recognizing the work our firefighters do each day. Everything was absolutely delicious—thank you again!
