Warfield Elementary School Parent SBDMC Elections: Home of the Red Devils

Warfield Elementary School is now accepting nominations for our Parent SBDMC (Site-Based Decision Making Council) Elections!

The SBDMC plays an important role in helping make decisions that impact our students, staff, and school community. We encourage parents who want to make a difference at WES to consider serving!

✅ Parent Eligibility Requirements (Kentucky Guidelines)

To serve as a parent representative on the SBDMC, you must:

• Be the parent, stepparent, foster parent, or legal guardian of a student enrolled at Warfield Elementary School
• Have a child who will be enrolled at WES during the term of service
• Not be employed at Warfield Elementary School
• Be willing to attend meetings and work collaboratively with school staff and families

KSA Reminder:

Dear Warfield Elementary Parents and Guardians, We would like to remind our families that the KSA (Kentucky Summative Assessment) testing window will begin on May 11th.

We are excited for our students to show all they have learned this school year, and we appreciate your support in helping them do their very best.

There are several ways families can help students be successful during testing:
Ensure your child gets plenty of rest each night. Provide a healthy breakfast each morning. Make sure your child arrives at school on time and ready to learn. Encourage your child to stay positive and do their best.

Important Reminders:

Attendance is very important during the testing window. Please avoid scheduling appointments during testing days whenever possible. We are proud of our Red Devils and know they will work hard throughout this testing season. Thank you for partnering with us to support student success!

Together, we will make this a great testing season!
