OHA and Clackamas County, Oregon health officials are warning the public about a location where people may have been exposed to measles.

People might have been exposed if they were at the following location at this date and time:
• Canby Rodeo, 694 NE 4th Ave, Canby, between 7:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18.

Measles is very contagious. If you believe you’ve been exposed, it’s important to tell your doctor or clinic that you have symptoms of measles before you go. They will give you instructions for what to do so that you don’t spread measles.

The best protection against measles is the MMR (measles-mumps-rubella) vaccine.
