Bath County Service Authority Bath County Service Authority is a water and wastewater utility located in Bath County Virginia. Our total storage capacity is 1,255,900 gallons.

Bath County Service Authority provides water and wastewater services to the following locations: Ashwood, Clifton Forge Mountain, Hot Springs, Millboro, Cedar Creek, Bacova, Warm Springs, Bacova Junction, West Warm Springs, Chimney Run and Mitchelltown. The Authority operates 3 wastewater treatment plants located in Millboro (50,000 gpd), Cedar Creek (15,000 gpd) and Hot Springs (450,000 gpd). Was

tewater is delivered to these plants by gravity and force main wastewater lines. These systems have over 50 miles of sewer lines utilizing 11 sewage pumping stations. The water distribution system has over 56 miles of water lines and 9 water pumping stations. Service Authority has 5 wells and water purchase agreements with Virginia Hot Springs Water Company and Millboro Water Association. Our daily water consumption rate is 180,000 gpd. The Authority provides residents in these areas with 200 fire hydrants. Bath County Service Authority is governed by a 5 member board appointed by the Bath County Board of Supervisors.

BCSA is accepting sealed bids for this 2005 Ford F-350 Dump Truck 6.0 Diesel 4 Wheel Drive. Recently replaced the clutch, brakes and battery. Sealed bids will be accepted in the Bath County Service Authority office located in the Bath County Courthouse by June 5, 2026 at 4:00 pm. Truck will be available to view at the BCSA Sewer Treatment Plant located in Hot Springs Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Bath County Service Authority is accepting applications until 2:00 p.m. April 10, 2026 for the following position: Water, Wastewater Maintenance/Operator Trainee. A high school diploma or GED is required. Applicants must be able to lift 100 lbs. Once employed, employee will have twenty-four months to pass a class 4 operators exam. Applications should be sent or delivered to the Bath County Service Authority, P.O. Box 98, Warm Springs, Va. 24484. Applications submitted in the last 90 days need not reapply. Customers may experience low to no water pressure, air in the line, or no water. When repairs are complete we suggest running your water for a short period of time. We have no estimated time of when repairs will be completed. At this time the office phones are down and we have no way to reach customers to notify them of the progress.
