Community Voices: Opioid Use Awareness Survey

As part of The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs (CTWS) public health efforts, we are gathering community input to better understand local views on opioid (such as fentanyl) use, which will help guide prevention and treatment planning. This survey is intended to be completed by Warm Springs Tribal members and community members over 18 years of age.

 There are 13 questions in this short survey, and it will take about 4-5 minutes to complete.
 Participation is voluntary: you may skip any question or stop at any time.
 There are no right or wrong answers—we want your honest perspective.
 Your responses are anonymous and will go straight to our evaluation partner, NPC Research. We will not collect your name or any other identifying information about you.
 In the reports, NPC Research will summarize survey responses like this: “20% of respondents said that opioid use is a serious problem in our community.”
 As a thank you, you will be entered into a raffle for the chance to win a TV!

We are sorry for late notice as we were getting bus situation resolved. JCSD will be providing two busses for youth to ride on. Please talk with kids about good behavior, respect for staff, peers, and bus drivers.

Right now we have 52 youth signed up & lots of room. If you are going and have kids under 7 with you that is ok, let us know and we can put them on list. But if they are riding bus and no adults accompanying them they will need to be 7 or older.

Bus will be leaving prevention no later than 9:15am and return around 6ish depending on traffic. Sack lunches for the ride there and snacks on way home. Please feed your kids breakfast before they are dropped off 😄

📢THE BUS IS NOW AT CAPACITY, we have 123 kids signed up!

Contact Jaycelene to get on the list 😄

Please help spread the word:

Due to staff & volunteers working and helping with fire efforts & spaces being used for fire relief/victims we are going to CANCEL this weeks in person cam. We truly look forward to hosting kids all week and its a highlight to our summer. But for safety and concern we feel this is the best choice.

We will still be swimming at the MAC Thursday for tribal youth and their families from 1-3:30, transportation will be on your own. Up to 150 folks.

We will also still be going to Oaks Park Friday from 12-4pm. We will take 150 tribal youth ages 7-13 for this, we are working on getting busses to transport but if you are able to transport your own youth please let us know.

Call or email Jaycelene to sign up for both 541-615-0116 or email [email protected]

If for some reason you cannot make it please let us know so we can fill all slots. Thank you for your understanding, the safety and well being of our youth is our first priority.
