Georgia Veterans Education Career Transition Resource Center VECTR is a gateway for veterans and their families transitioning into Georgia's post-secondary educational institutions and the civilian workforce.

Georgia’s VECTR Center is a one-stop hub assisting veterans, transitioning service members, and their families with career coaching, accelerated training, education guidance, entrepreneurship support, VA benefits guidance, and community services. A collaboration of the University System of Georgia and the Technical System of Georgia, VECTR provides career counseling, educational coaching, workforc

e training and more. Accelerated technical training offered through VECTR is unique, focusing on high-demand careers and helping veterans build on their military skills to get into other careers as quickly a possible. Risk and Protective Factors - Virtual Workshop

Participants will gain a better understanding of suicidal behavior through exploring risk and protective factors for su***de. Ways to become more aware of risk factors and to improve protective factors will be presented. Risk factors that colleagues/clients may be facing will be presented in a case scenario, and participants will explore ways to assist with retrieving necessary resources.
