👟 THE GLOW RUN IS TONIGHT!! Lace up those running shoes because it is time for the Warner Robins Police Department Glow Run 2026! 🟢🟦🟣

This event will feature food trucks, police & fire vehicles on display, vendors, bouncy house, face painting, and car show from the Central Georgia Mustang Club of Warner Robins before the race starts!

All proceeds from the race will go to Special Olympics Georgia!

A t-shirt and finisher medal will be guaranteed to the first 600 registered runners. Glow Body Paint, Glow Necklace, and Glow Bracelet will be provided to each runner on the night of the event in the "GLOW TENT". Make sure to take lots of photos with the black lights in the tent and dress up in all things GLOW!

🚓 UPDATE - MISSING PERSON - BOLO 🚓

In reference to the below post, Ms. Star Griffin has been located and is safe.

🚨 MISSING PERSON – BOLO 🚨

The Warner Robins Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Star Griffin, who was reported missing on September 24, 2026.

Griffin was last known to be staying at the Budget Inn, located at 3094 Watson Boulevard in Warner Robins, with her boyfriend. She has reportedly not been seen there since September 17, 2026. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

Investigators learned that Griffin may have been driving a maroon 2027 Hyundai Elantra with Texas license plate WGR 4295. The vehicle has since been recovered in Macon, and investigators are working to determine Griffin’s whereabouts.

Anyone with information regarding Star Griffin’s whereabouts or information on this incident is asked to contact Detective Thompson with the Warner Robins Police Department at 478-225-6178.

🚨 Please be aware of Road Closures this Saturday, October 17th due to the Warner Robins Police Department Glow Run. Cohen Walker Dr. in the area of Freedom Field will be closed completely starting at 7:45 p.m. and will not reopen until the 5k runners are clear of the roadway, which should be approximately 9:30 p.m.

Traffic in that area will be impacted during this period due to the road closures. Motorists should anticipate delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes. We appreciate the public's patience and cooperation while the 5k is completed and until the roadway is reopened.

Please be advised of the current traffic situation on Russell Parkway near the base. Please avoid the area at this time.

⚠️ TRAFFIC ALERT | ROAD CLOSURE
The entrance and off-ramp at Highway 247 and Russell Parkway are currently CLOSED due to downed power lines.

Crews are en route to address the situation. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

Please use caution and allow extra travel time. Follow City of Warner Robins social channels for updates.

This is not just a 5k-it is a family friendly event that will have vendors, food trucks, Police & Fire vehicles on display, bouncy house, and face painting!
