The Warner Robins Police Department invites everyone to stop by any Warner Robins Dunkin’ location on **Friday, June 5, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.** for our annual **Cops at Donut Shops** fundraiser benefiting Special Olympics Georgia through the LETR Georgia.

Come grab a coffee, enjoy a donut, and spend some time getting to know your local police officers while supporting an incredible cause. Every donation helps provide year-round sports training and athletic competition opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities across Georgia.

Chief Fisher encourages the community to come out and participate:

*"Cops at Donut Shops is a fun and meaningful opportunity for our officers to engage with the community outside of their daily duties while supporting an incredible organization. We encourage everyone to stop by, say hello, and help make a difference for Special Olympics athletes across Georgia."*

We would like to wish a Happy Retirement to Sergeant Paul Peck! He is retiring after 17 years of service to the Warner Robins Police Department. Before he moved to Georgia, he served 7 years at the New York Police Department. Between WRPD and NYPD, he has a total of 24 years in Law Enforcement. We wish you the best and hope you enjoy all of your days ahead in this new chapter of your life.

Police Week 2026 is in the books βœ…

We had multiple events last week in honor of Police Week for the public and law enforcement. Dodgeball, Torch Run, Pickleball, Bowling, Pray for Police, Night of Blue Lights, Back the Blue Luncheon at McCullough Funeral Home, Fi****ms Competition, and Closing Ceremonies at RAFB...just to name a few. Police Week events are always one of our favorite times of the year! πŸš“πŸ’™

Thank you to all of our sponsors, businesses, and citizens that took the time to acknowledge us and drop of food, goodies, and desserts last week. These kind gestures NEVER go unnoticed and are very much appreciated by our staff.

πŸ“Έ We would like to acknowledge and say a huge THANK YOU to Lou Crouch for taking all of our photos during Police Week this year. All police week photos can be viewed at www.picturesbylou.com.

In honor of National Peace Officers Memorial Day, we would like to remember one of our Warner Robins Police Officers who died in the line of duty:

Officer Anthony James Cilurso
End of Watch: March 5, 1990

Officer Cilurso succumbed to injuries sustained 7 years earlier (July 22, 1983) when his police motorcycle was struck by a drunk driver. He responded with activated emergency equipment to a burglary in progress call when the drunk driver turned in front of him and collided with his motorcycle. He was in a coma for several weeks. Once he came out of the coma, he was physically and mentally impaired as a result of the severe trauma and head injuries that he sustained. He died in his home on March 5, 1990. πŸš“πŸ’™

We would like to give a huge thank you The Butcher Shop and McCullough Funeral Home for providing lunch to all of our Officers and Staff at the Back the Blue Law Enforcement Appreciation Luncheon today! The low country boil was great and the fellowship was even better. We always love coming together with our fellow local law enforcement agencies and sharing a meal together during Police Week. πŸš“πŸ’™
