📖 Introducing the first edition of the J2:18 Ministry Update: Going Beyond Outreach
J2:18 is inspired by Joshua 2:18, where the spies instructed Rahab to tie a scarlet cord in her window. The scarlet cord was a sign of protection and a readiness to be rescued. Today, it reminds us of hope, courage, and the possibility of a new beginning.
This month, we’re sharing three stories that helped shape our commitment to Going Beyond Outreach. Through each of these women, God has shown us that lasting change often requires more time, more relationship, and more support than can happen during outreach alone.
❤️ Princess R took a courageous step toward a new beginning and entered a safe home after years of prayer, encouragement, and relationship.
🙏 Princess T recently celebrated more than one month of sobriety. During a health challenge, volunteers were able to visit, pray, encourage, and walk alongside her as she considers longer-term recovery options.
🌱 Princess D made a lasting impression on our team during a single outreach encounter. After months of searching and praying for an opportunity to reconnect, we were able to meet with her through our jail mentorship ministry. She is now considering a different path forward and has asked for help as she prepares for life after release.
These stories remind us that outreach is often where the relationship begins—not where it ends.
Thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, volunteered, prayed, and partnered with J2:18 during these first months. We are grateful for the opportunities God is providing and excited about what lies ahead.
