Just a reminder that this is going to be happening this morning 5/8/2026

The town will be doing smoke testing in the sewer system tomorrow. We advise everyone to make sure to run some water in all your sinks and flush all toilets tonight. If you see smoke in your house with no Smokey smell please call the city hall. If you smell smoke call 911 the smoke they will be using will not smell like fire smoke.

[4:35P - 4/26/26] Multiple rounds of storms are forcasted across NE , this evening into overnight. Storms that develop will be capable of producing all severe hazards, including very large hail and tornadoes. Overnight storms will have higher-end tornado potential. Stay weather aware!

The Tornado Watch has been cancelled across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Portions of eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas remain in a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until midnight. Large hail and damaging winds are the primary concerns, but a tornado or two remain possible across far SE OK.
