Earlier this month the annual Mother Son mass was held outside on the St. John Baptist De La Salle Field. There were over 400 plus guests in attendance.
The CBA was delighted to supply and hand out flowers to all of the mothers, grandmothers and special guests who were there.
It was a beautiful day and a wonderful mass with Bishop Quinn celebrating with us.

A friendly reminder that all are welcome to join us this Thursday, June 1 at 7 p.m. in the DLS Commons. We'll celebrate another successful CBA year while we enjoy a delicious meal, drinks and friendship!
Each year, at our June meeting, the Brother George Synan Scholarship recipient is announced. The CBA donates $1000 towards the recipients college tuition. We look forward to announcing this year's winner!

Last Thursday, May 4th, was our May crowning and what a beautiful and blessed evening it was!
We started with the crowning of the Blessed Mother outside of the school, then said the rosary inside the chapel and crowned the Blessed Mother inside the chapel and finished with crowning the Blessed Mother in the Hallway. The evening ended with food and fellowship and our general meeting in the DLS cafeteria. It was a wonderful night!

The annual CBA Retreat happened this past Saturday! Thirty five CBA members enjoyed mass at Sweetest Heart of Mary with Monsignor Zenz presiding followed by a tour. Our next stop was Our Lady Queen of Apostles for an interesting history lesson followed by speaker, Jennifer Buckley, who gave a poignant and personal speech about Building Boys and Making Men. Our day ended with a delicious meal at the Polish Cafe. We are grateful to Ben Westphal and Sister Kathleen for organizing and attending the trip and, most importantly, providing us with a day of fellowship and friendship. At the end of the day our hearts and bellies were full!

This past week our 38th Spring Fantasy Fashion show, Fashion in Bloom was a great success! There are many generous and dedicated individuals that donate their time and energy to plan and pull off this event. Not one single detail was overlooked!

Each year at the Fashion show the CBA recognizes active members who have a son in the current De La Salle Collegiate graduating class. This year we had a record number of mom and son models in our 2023 Fashion Show.
