🔥 Structure Fire 🔥

At approximately 1:46 this morning, the Warren City Fire Department was dispatched to the 800 block of Adams Ave. NW for a reported structure fire. Car 12, Truck 1, Rescue 1, Engine 5 and Engine 6 responded.

Downtown units arrived on scene and reported a working house fire. Crews immediately initiated an aggressive interior attack, quickly bringing the fire under control.

A search was simultaneously completed with no victims found. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Ohio State Fire Marshal.

🔥 Structure Fire 🔥

At approximately 4:30 this afternoon, the Warren City Fire Department was dispatched to the 2400 block of Brier St. SE for a reported structure fire. Car 12, Truck 1, Rescue 1, Engine 5 and Engine 6 responded.

Downtown units arrived on scene and reported a working house fire with the occupant outside. Crews immediately pulled a hose line and worked to extinguish the fire. The fire was quickly brought under control.

A search was simultaneously completed with no victims found. No injuries were reported.

Today, the members of Warren Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 204 proudly congratulate Captain Shawn Peura on his retirement after 31 years of dedicated service to the Warren City Fire Department.

For more than three decades, Captain Peura answered the call with professionalism, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to the citizens of Warren and to his fellow firefighters. His dedication to the fire service has left a lasting impact on our department and the community we are honored to serve.

Thank you, Captain Peura, for your years of sacrifice, hard work, and commitment. We wish you and your family nothing but health, happiness, and success as you begin this well-earned next chapter.

🔥 Structure Fire 🔥

At approximately 09:34 this morning, the Warren City Fire Department was dispatched to the 2300 block of Risher Rd. SW for a reported structure fire. Car 2, Car 12, Truck 1, Rescue 1, Engine 5 and Engine 6 responded.

Downtown units arrived on scene and reported a working house fire with the occupant outside. Crews immediately pulled a hose line and worked to extinguish the fire. Water was reported on the fire within 2 minutes on scene. The fire was knocked down within 6 minutes.

A search was simultaneously completed with no victims found. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office.
