Warren County has been awarded $125,000 in grant funding from the state's Commonwealth Financing Authority's competitive Local Share Account program. The funding will allow the county to replace two Sheriff's Office vehicles that were approaching end of useful life, allowing for more reliable response and reduced maintenance costs. The procurement process is underway and the vehicles should be in service later this summer. Total expense to the county's general fund will be less than $1,000 courtesy of this award from the CFA.
