Happy Women Veterans Day! The first Women Veterans Day was held June 12, 2018, marking the 70th anniversary of the groundbreaking Women's Armed Services Integration Act, signed into law by President Harry S. Soldiers from the Detroit Arsenal participated in a short “Ruck March for Remembrance.” The run was done in advance of the Memorial Day weekend, to show camaraderie and to remember fellow Soldiers who did not return — who gave the last full measure of devotion — in defense of our Nation.

Please take time this Memorial Day weekend to remember our fallen Service members.
