Foster for a Difference URGENT need for foster families to be temporary caregivers of children (all ages) removed from birth family due to abuse or neglect.

Foster for a Difference is a program by Northeast Ohio Adoption Services to find stable & supportive temporary homes. The opioid epidemic is a great tragedy for the addict and society, but what do you think happens to their children when there are no stable adults to care for them? Sadly, these children are coming into the foster care system in record numbers. Across the state of Ohio there is a

severe shortage of foster families available to provide the temporary, safe, stable and loving homes that is so desperately needed. The ages of children range from newborns to 17 years of age. Foster for a Difference is a program launched by Northeast Ohio Adoption Services (NOAS) to combat the urgent need for temporary foster parents. NOAS is private, not for profit foster/adoption agency that was founded in 1978. We charge no fees for families. NOAS families are offered pre-placement classes as well as ongoing training sessions. We also support our families every step of the way through programs like our parent resource group.
