FATAL HIT & RUN

Warren Police are asking for the public's help in locating a vehicle possibly involved in an accident that took the life of a 33yr old man on west bound 8 mile near Groesbeck on Tuesday, May 19th, at approximately 10:05 PM. The vehicle involved is possibly a black Dodge Dart or Chrysler 200 with chromed side view mirrors. The driver's side view mirror was found at the scene. The vehicle probably sustained moderate to heavy front left side damage.

If you suspect that a work place is operating and is non-essential, please DO NOT call 911. We are receiving several of these type of calls that are tying up 911 lines and 911 dispatchers. This could delay a response to an actual emergency.

Due to the Covid-19 Virus and in attempts to protect citizens and stop the spread, The Warren Police Department lobby will be secured from walk-in pedestrian traffic starting TODAY (3/24/2020) at 0430hrs. Only departmental personnel will be allowed access. Officers will be available for questions and normal lobby business by calling 586-574-4701. If you have an emergency, please dial 911. Recognize this man? Suspect is possibly in his 30's, 5'10", approximately 240lbs, full beard, wearing a full grey sweatsuit, black boots robbed the Huntington Bank (13490 10 Mile) on Jan. 2nd around 1pm. Fled the scene in a 2004-2010 Pontiac G6, 4-door, silver in color
