School is back, and safety is everyone’s responsibility!

Students, parents, and drivers all play an important role in keeping our school zones safe.

🚍 Stop for school buses when the red lights are flashing.
🚶 Use designated crosswalks and watch for students.
🚗 Follow school drop-off and pickup procedures.
📱 Slow down in school zones and stay alert. Put the phone down and keep your eyes on the road.

Every safe trip starts with you. Let’s make safety our superpower this school year!

Surrounded by smiling faces and wonderful community spirit! It was incredible to see local families and officers coming together for the Operation Back 2 School event at Fitzgerald High School this past Sunday, where the Warren Police and Fire demonstrations, fresh haircuts, and great family fun brought so much positive energy to the neighborhood.

A huge thank you to all the dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors, and everyone who helped make this community-focused event such a massive success.

This morning, Warren resident Jerry Burden made a generous donation of $500 to the Warren Police Explorers and $500 to the Warren Police Athletic League. His contributions will help support these youth enrichment programs and provide opportunities for kids throughout our community.

At 90 years old, Mr. Burden continues to give back to Warren. He is also a member of the Warren Senior Housing Commission and has remained an active part of our community.

Thank you, Mr. Burden, for your incredible generosity and for your continued dedication to making Warren a better place for our residents—especially our youth! 👏💙
