The weather could get bumpy late this evening, stay weather aware.

It will be mainly dry for most of today after a few showers this morning and early afternoon. Storms are expected to develop and move across the area late this afternoon and evening. Some storms may be severe, with damaging winds the main risk. Showers and some thunder linger overnight tonight.

Stay Weather Aware!!

Much of today will be dry, with storms likely to move into Northwest Ohio towards this evening. Storms are expected to weaken while pushing east into tonight. Tuesday is again expected to start dry, with more widespread shower and storm potential later Tuesday and Tuesday night ahead of a cold front.

A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania until 11 PM EDT

4:41 AM EDT 5/9/26: Scattered thunderstorms are expected ahead of and along a cold front this afternoon and evening. The Storm Prediction Center continues to highlight a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms (risk level 1 of 5). Damaging hail and damaging wind gusts are expected to be the main hazards with any severe storm.

Scattered showers this morning will turn into a steady, soaking rain this afternoon into tonight. A few embedded thunderstorms could bring locally heavy rain this afternoon. The rain will slowly end late tonight and Wednesday morning, but temperatures will only reach the 50s Wednesday afternoon.
