Your Tyler County ESD #4 - Warren Fire and Rescue will have it’s regular monthly Board of Emergency Services Commissioners meeting this Wednesday, 5/20/2026, at the Tyler County ESD #4 - Warren Fire & Rescue Main Station, at 7 pm. This month’s meeting will take place Wednesday not our normal Thursday due to the Warren High School graduation ceremony which is scheduled for Thursday night. The agenda has been filed with the County Clerk and posted, as legally required, at the County Clerk’s exterior notice board (across from the courthouse) and at the main station by the front door. The meeting is open to the public. If you wish to address the board during public comments, please notify us at [email protected] at least 2 hours prior. There is a form we will need you to fill out prior to the meeting in order to keep the public comment period orderly and within legal guidelines. We welcome all community members and public. Come see all of the positive growth happening at your fire station and wish The Kid congrats on her graduation. The district is proud of you, Melody Moore!

Mr. Spivey, thank you for saving us with extra tables at the last second. (Video was made before you saved us) Thank you to Chief Kyle Wood for donating for the table rentals. Yesterday evening your Tyler County ESD #4 - Warren Fire & Rescue firefighters responded to a shed on fire. 6 personnel responded in Brush 51-1, Tanker 51-2 and Engine 51-1.

Hello Warren,

My name is Kyle Wood and I am the Chief of Tyler County ESD #4 - Warren Fire & Rescue. I joined my first fire department as a junior at 13. I have continued to do the job 100% as my way to give back to my community. Still today, that's the only reason I do it. Definitely not because of the pay. We don’t like to use the word volunteer anymore because regardless of pay, the job your fire fighters perform and the risk they take is the same. But, the truth is, from commissioners down to jr. fire fighters, everyone here is a volunteer and each person gives so much of themselves to support and protect you, our community! It brings me true joy when we are able to show up on someone's worst day and save/help their lives or property.

Now as a chief, I think watching our young and new members grow into well rounded fire fighters, the next generation of people to run towards the danger instead of away, is what makes me happiest and proudest. I am extremely proud of your fire fighters here in Warren. They have become a solid crew and continue to grow and improve their skills daily. They are dedicated to the goal we have set to provide the very best fire services to you, the community and taxpayers of Tyler County ESD #4.

This station we call our home is YOUR FIRE STATION; we are YOUR FIRE FIGHTERS; THIS IS WARREN’S FIRE DEPARTMENT. We hope we make you proud to have us protect you and we thank you for letting us serve you.

We have worked tirelessly to plan the Comedy Night Fundraiser taking place at the fire station tonight at 6pm. There will be food, raffles, door prizes, silent auction items and a great clean performance by our professional comedian, Brent Reed. I hope everyone will support Warren Fire & Rescue and show up for the fun tonight! The station will be manned all day today and tickets are available at the station or online. We will have additional tickets at the door and would love to have you and your family join us. The night has been planned for family friendly fun right here in our community.

Hello,
My name is Brian Edwards and I just recently joined Tyler County ESD #4 - Warren Fire & Rescue. My son, Kyle Wood, was appointed Chief of Tyler County ESD #4 in January of this year. I am so proud of all that he has done. When I attend Monday night training meetings, I see what an amazing man I have helped him grow to be and I want to be by his side to help our community. To be able to say that your son has become one of your heroes is an amazing feeling. Not only is Kyle an excellent chief but he is also a single father raising my beautiful granddaughter. I could not be more impressed with who he has become.
I don't even mind learning from and taking orders from him 🧡. Warren Fire & Rescue is a team and a family. They strive to advance their skills constantly and they all truly have a heart for service. I am so excited to be a part of this crew.
So please get your tickets today for our Comedy Night Fundraiser! I know that these firefighters have put a huge effort into creating a memorable night for this community.

Hello Warren,
My name is Miles Edwards, and I am 15 years old. I recently joined Tyler County ESD #4 - Warren Fire & Rescue as a junior firefighter. I am passionate about sports and enjoy playing football, basketball, and running track. Staying active and competing pushes me to work hard and stay focused both on and off the field.
Outside of sports, I enjoy spending time with my friends and making great memories. Family is also very important to me. I have three younger sisters who look up to me, and I do my best to be a positive role model for them every day. I strive to lead by example through hard work, respect, and determination. Being a firefighter is an excellent way to serve my community and serve as a positive example for my sisters. It is also a lot of fun!
