Please join us in welcoming a special guest to the 2014 Metro-Detroit AFL-CIO Labor Day Parade, Vice President JOE BIDEN!

The UAW will be joining other international unions and their families on Monday, September 1, 2014 to celebrate Labor Day.

IMPORTANT SECURITY INFORMATION:
1. PARTICIPANTS SHOULD ARRIVE TO OLD TIGER STADIUM, LOCATED AT MICHIGAN AVE. & TRUMBULL, NO LATER THAN 7:30AM IN ORDER TO GET THROUGH SECURITY
2. PLAN AHEAD! THE LESS YOU BRING, THE FASTER YOU WILL GET THROUGH SECURITY. BAGS WILL BE CHECKED, & NO LIQUIDS ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE STADIUM
3. THE PROGRAM WILL BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 9:00AM, THE VICE PRESIDENT WILL BE GIVING REMARKS AT 9:30AM.
4. AFTER THE PROGRAM, MARSHALS WILL DIRECT UNIONS AND PARTICIPANTS TO THEIR STAGING LOCATIONS & WE WILL MARCH TO MICHIGAN AVE & WASHINGTON BLVD.
