The library will be advertising in The Scoop now. If you would like to get The Scoop, it is available for free home delivery within Jo Daviess County only, and the Shoppers Guide is delivered free within the city of Lena. Although it is free, they do appreciate donations.

For pricing questions in other locations, people can always email them at [email protected] to see what their options are.

If anyone would like to join us on Tuesday, June 23rd for one of our Summer Reading Programs with Children's Book Author Allen McCaulley, come downstairs at the library by 2:00. You don't have to be a part of our Summer Reading program to attend. Mr. McCaulley writes books about his dog Max. He has a couple of new books since he was here last year. His first book was Max Makes Pancakes. Mr. McCaulley will be selling his books and puzzles while he is here so bring money with you if you would like to purchase anything from him.

Please call the library if you are interested in the Narcan training this Saturday at 10:00 a.m. You get a certificate after completing the class. If we don't get many people to sign up, the class will be canceled.

We had a perfect night for music at the library tonight with The Sunday Jam Gang. Thank you Jerry Reed, Jay Spinhirne, Eric Kuhl, and Jim Brown! Thank you also to everyone who came out to enjoy the music! See you again next year!
