Warren Police Athletic League Warren PAL is a free sports program offered through the Warren Police Department

PAL is a youth crime prevention program that utilizes educational, athletic and recreational activities to create trust and understanding between police officers and youth. It is based on the conviction that young people – if they are reached early enough – can develop strong positive attitudes towards police officers in their journey through life toward the goal of maturity and good citizenship.

The PAL program brings youth under the supervision and positive influence of a law enforcementagency and expands public awareness about the role of a police officerand the reinforcement of the responsible values and attitudes instilled in young people by their parents. Studies have shown that if a young person respects a police officer on the ball field, gym or classroom, the youth will likely come to respect the laws that police officers enforce. Such respect is beneficial to the youth, the police officer, the neighborhood and the business community. Our PAL program currently operates with a Summer (Baseball, Softball, T-Ball, Bowling) and a Fall (Flag Football) Season. Our programs are open to all Warren Residents (programs have age restrictions, see the sports page for more information)

Warren PAL 2022 Baseball ⚾️ sign up!!!

Free for Warren & Center Line Residents.

There are multiple roster spots still available for T-Ball, Coach Pitch & Player Pitch Baseball. There will be multiple teams for each age group with schedules for practices and games each week throughout the summer.

Players receive a team shirt & free lunch each day. Warren PAL supplies all the baseball equipment needed. Just sign up, show up and play ball!!

Draft day will be Tuesday June 21st.

T- Ball is ages 5 to 7
Coach Pitch is ages 8-10
Player Pitch is ages 11-15

The annual BATTLE OF THE BADGES softball tournament fundraiser is set for 09/17/22. Teams from the Warren PD, Sterling Heights PD, Macomb Co Sheriff’s Office, and Oakland Co Sheriff’s Office are going to face off at Jimmy John’s Field. Join us at the ball park for a great family event and help support the Warren PAL, Oakland Sheriff PAL & Both the MCSO & Sterling Heights PD Explorers programs.

There will be concessions, vendor tables, face painters, K9s, Patrol Vehicles, kids run the bases and much more! Tickets are $15 in advance / $20 at the gate. Children 10 and under are free (also reserved online).

Only (3) Cabana Suites & a handful of Diamond Tables are left. There are also many sponsorship opportunities. These are a fun way for businesses & groups to support a great cause and have a business logo or special message displayed on the big scoreboard during the tournament!! **PAL Announcement**

Update - PAL Bowling, Basketball (5-9 year olds) & Golf are now full.

Limited openings are still available for Basketball (10-15 year olds).

There are still plenty of openings for T-Ball, Coach Pitch and Player Pitch ⚾️.

The 2022 Warren PAL schedule & registration is now available. Featuring🏀 ⚾️ ⛳️ 🎳

Completely free for Warren & Center Line residents ages 5-15.

Mondays 🏀 will be held at the Lincoln high school gym. There will be two one hour sessions. Ages 5-15. Free food for each participant provided by the Van D**e Public School District.

Tuesdays ⚾️ will be held at the Chatterton Middle School Baseball Diamonds.

T-Ball - Noon to 1pm
Coach Pitch - 1:30pm to 2:30pm
Player Pitch - 3:00pm to 4:00pm

Ages 5-15. Free food provided for each participant by the Fitzgerald Public School District.

Wednesdays 🎳 will be held at Bonanza Lanes. Ages 10-15.

Thursdays ⛳️ will be held at the Maple Lane Golf Course. Ages 10-15.

The 1st annual PAL zoo trip is set for Tuesday July 5th. A ticket link will
be available soon with discounted group rates.
