Student Lucas H. in Mr. Macedoniaβs 1st Hour Foods Class at Enterprise High School prepared an impressive garden-to-table meal today!
π½οΈ Menu:
β’ Fried walleye sandwich topped with fresh green leaf lettuce from the Enterprise garden, homemade tartar sauce, and American cheese on a brioche bun
β’ Braised collard greens with bacon, harvested from the Enterprise garden
β’ Fresh salad featuring Enterprise-grown romaine and green leaf lettuce, shallots, radishes, and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, tossed in a white balsamic vinaigrette
To make this meal even more special, the walleye was caught by Mr. Macedonia and paired with fresh produce grown right here in the Enterprise garden. This hands-on experience showcased the journey from garden and water to table while highlighting Lucasβs culinary skills, attention to detail, and creativity.
