🌱 Our library team is ready for PLANT A SEED, READ! 📚
After months of planning, preparation, and teamwork, we're excited to kick off another Summer Reading Club! We are incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing team dedicated to creating fun, engaging, and meaningful experiences for our community.

WEEK ONE starts today! There's still time to register. Participants can begin turning in reading logs and earning tickets for prizes.

Weekly Programs
📚 Storytime — Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 10:30 AM
📚 1st–5th Grade Programs — Thursdays at 10:30 AM
📚Music Makers — Fridays at 10:30 AM
📚 Teen programs scheduled throughout the summer

It that time again!! Bring your little listeners to Storytime Tuesday, June 2nd here at Barclay Public Library. Our event will start at 10:30am. We also have Storytime on Wednesday, June 3rd at Harristown Community Center which starts at 10:30am. Storytime includes a craft and snack. Ages 2-5. Older siblings are welcome!

Ready for some summer fun? Barclay Public Library's Summer Reading Club Kickoff Party is coming this Thursday at 10:30am. This event will be located next to the library at Illini Park. There will be giant foosball, games and a sweet treat to enjoy. We hope to see you there!! Grades 1st-5th.

You're invited to unroll your mat and breathe easy at Barclay Public Library. Join us Monday, June 1st at 1pm for a gentle afternoon yoga class-a peaceful space to slow down, stretch and reset. No experience needed. All levels are welcome and chair yoga variations available. Space is limited, so we'd love for you to register in advance on Eventbrite. Our library dog, Barclay, kicked off his summer with a trip to Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks with Ava and Aiden! Looks like he had a great time hiking and exploring!🐾

Did you know you can take Barclay the dog on a trip too?!! Just ask to "check him out" next time you're on your way out of town.
