🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day from Warrensburg EMS! 🇺🇸

As we celebrate our nation's 250th anniversary of independence, all of us at Warrensburg EMS wish our friends, neighbors, and visitors a safe, happy, and memorable Fourth of July weekend!

Today, we proudly celebrate the freedoms we enjoy while honoring the brave men and women of our Armed Forces past and present, whose courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment have protected our nation for generations. We are forever grateful to those who gave everything in defense of our country and to those who continue to serve with honor.

As you gather with family and friends, please celebrate responsibly:
☀️ Stay hydrated and take frequent breaks from the heat.
🎆 Leave fireworks to the professionals whenever possible and keep a safe distance.
🏊 Never swim alone, supervise children closely around the water, and always wear a life jacket when appropriate.
🚗 Never drink and drive, designate a sober driver or use a rideshare service to get home safely.

Let's work together to make this holiday weekend one filled with wonderful memories, not preventable emergencies.

On behalf of everyone at Warrensburg EMS, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to all of this year’s graduates! Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have brought you to an incredible milestone, and we couldn’t be more proud of your accomplishments.

As you celebrate with family and friends, we encourage everyone to make safety a priority. If you’re attending graduation parties or celebrations:

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends, and all involved in this tragedy. This was a sad couple of days for our small community. We thank all of our local, regional, and state responders who pulled together during this time. This was not the outcome we had hoped for. Thank you to all the agencies across Warren County, our neighboring counties, and the state who stepped in and responded on a moments notice to help.

: According to New York State Police, the 21-year-old kayaker who went missing in Warrensburg has been found dead.
