Due to continued road conditions and in the interest of the safety of all parties, as the Town of Warrenton continues ongoing efforts to clear and treat the roadways near the courthouse, the Fauquier General District Court will be CLOSED tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

All matters scheduled for tomorrow will be rescheduled. Updated information will be provided as soon as possible, and the Clerk’s Office will mail notice to all defendants regarding new court dates.

The Fauquier General District Court will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026, due to projected inclement weather and a Declaration of Local Emergency issued by the Town of Warrenton, designating most street parking in town as emergency routes.

If you had a scheduled court date for Monday, the Virginia Courts website has been updated with your new court date. You will also receive a notice by mail with your updated court information.
