Another package of luminary bags, ribbons, and markers was delivered to Latitudes Fair Trade - Warrenton! The wonderful ladies at Latitudes are always so grateful and open to promoting mental health awareness in May and were honored to participate in this new September initiative.

You can stop by throughout September to:
💙Decorate a luminary bag (up until September 10th for display at the event)
💙Write a message of hope, encouragement, remembrance, or support on a ribbon

We’re teaming up with the Mental Health Association of Fauquier County and closing out August’s Wellness Walk Wednesdays with another truly special Sensory Hike! 🌿✨

It's almost time! Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 26 at 9 AM, join us for a sensory walk led by our very own Cara Cassell, a chance to reset, recharge, and soak in everything Riverside Preserve has to offer. No registration required!

This walk follows a light, unpaved trail, and we’ve marked it as a Level 2 intensity due to the natural terrain. It’s a gentle pace with beautiful views all around.

The colors, the serenity, the sound of the river… it’s the perfect mid‑week breath of fresh morning air. Let’s walk, connect, and celebrate our lives together! 💚🚶‍♀️

Grab those walking shoes, fill up your water bottle, and let’s get walking!

We were excited to join our community partners and neighbors for a ribbon cutting celebrating the opening of Intempus, a new property management company in our community and a member of Fauquier Chamber of Commerce.

No matter the situation or event, mental health conversations happen sometimes when you least expect it. That’s why we love being out in our community—welcoming new organizations, building connections, and making sure our neighbors know that Mental Health Fauquier is here to help, connect, and support.

Tuesday Community Spotlight: Postpartum Support Virginia

This week, we highlight Postpartum Support Virginia — a vital resource founded in 2009 to support individuals, health care providers, and the community through director support services, provider training, and community-based solutions.

One of their most important resources is the Warmline — a free year-round line for support and resources answered by those who have lived experience with perinatal mood or anxiety disorders.

Support matters — especially during the perinatal period — and we’re grateful for the work Postpartum Virginia does to uplift families across our community.
