🚨 COUNTY OPERATIONS UPDATE – WARREN COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES 🚨

Due to ongoing weather and road conditions, all NON-ESSENTIAL Warren County government offices will open at 10:00 AM tomorrow to allow for safer travel conditions for staff and the public.

Essential services will remain operational and on call as needed, including:
• 911
• Fire & EMS
• Sheriff’s Office
• Road Department

We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as conditions continue to improve. Please continue to use caution if traveling and allow extra time on roadways.

🚨 ROAD CONDITIONS ALERT – WARREN COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES 🚨

Warren County Emergency Services advises that road conditions across the county are rapidly deteriorating due to snow and ice accumulation. Several roadways are becoming covered, with slick and icy patches developing, making travel hazardous.

For your safety—and the safety of our first responders—please stay off the roads unless travel is absolutely necessary for an emergency. If you must travel, use extreme caution, reduce your speed, and allow plenty of stopping distance.

Our teams will continue to monitor conditions and share updates as they become available. We appreciate everyone doing their part to help keep Warren County safe by staying home if possible.

Here's a look at the area with the greatest potential for further snow accumulations over the coming hours. Further snow remains possible over to the ATL metro, however this will begin to taper off over the coming hours and little to no further accumulations are expected.

Bitterly cold wind chills are expected Saturday night and Sunday morning. Expect values in the -10 to 5 degree range! Sunday morning will feel like we are living in Michigan, not Georgia.

[ Friday Afternoon Update ] These are the latest forecast snowfall amounts for Saturday. Snow will begin late tonight over far north Georgia and spread southward through Saturday morning. Snow will taper off through Saturday afternoon. Any accumulations will create slick roadways and dangerous driving conditions.
