We are proud to celebrate the grand opening of the Plummer Hook & Ladder Fire Museum, honoring a remarkable legacy of service, dedication, and history dating back to 1868.

We extend our sincere appreciation to North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey, the NC Department of Insurance, and all of our local officials, community members, and supporters who joined us for this historic occasion.

This museum represents more than the history of a fire department. It preserves the sacrifices, accomplishments, and dedication of generations of firefighters who helped shape our community and the fire service.

We are grateful to everyone who worked tirelessly to make this vision a reality. It is an honor to help preserve this important chapter of North Carolina’s firefighting history for future generations.

Honoring Our Past. Preserving Our Legacy. Inspiring Our Future. 🚒
