A new report indicates the FDA will finally launch a proper investigation of the dangerous abortion pill. The investigation comes amid ongoing litigation and congressional pressure to reinstate in-person requirements and other protections that were eliminated in the push for greater access.
In November of 2025, Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway joined into a lawsuit filed by her predecessor, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, challenging the safety of mifepristone to induce abortions.

The citizen initiative process is direct democracy and is diametrically opposed to the representative form of government that our US Constitution guarantees for each state in America. Because Missouri has the citizen initiative petition process and ratification process, we now have imbedded in our Missouri Constitution the right to abortion on demand, recreational ma*****na, and gambling. Amendment 4 is a critical step to restore balance and protect our state's future.

What’s in Amendment 4?

Amendment 4 introduces common-sense reforms to Missouri's initiative petition process and the ratification of proposed changes to our Missouri Constitution and aims to prevent fraud and foreign interference, while maintaining citizen input.

Key provisions include:

• Prohibiting Contributions from Foreign Adversaries and Nationals: Bans direct and in-kind contributions from foreign entities for the purpose of supporting or opposing any ballot measure. This language mirrors Senate Bill 152, which was passed in the 2025 legislative session.
• Punishing Initiative Petition Signature Fraud as a Crime: Establishes clear penalties for fraudulent signatures to ensure the integrity of the process.
• Requiring Public Hearings for Public Comment: Mandates hearings before initiatives are placed on the ballot allowing Missourians to provide input.
• Making Full Text Available to Voters: Ensures that the complete text of any proposed amendment is provided with the ballot.
• Requires broad support of an issue: By requiring a majority of voters in each congressional district to approve proposed amendments to the Missouri Constitution, every vote cast counts!

These measures protect the process from abuse without eliminating citizen-led initiatives.

Join us for a conversation with Rep. Darin Chappell (R-District 137) about the Missouri Plan. Rep. Chappell sponsored HJR153 which proposed an amendment to our Missouri Constitution which would have changed the “Missouri Plan” or provisions relating to the way judges are selected in certain courts in Missouri.

HJR153 was filed on January 5, referred to the General Laws Committee on March 9, heard in that committee on March 11, and the HCS HJR153 was reported do pass on April 9. From there HCS HJR153 was referred to the Rules-Legislative Committee on April 30 and was voted do pass on May 4. The Chairman of the Rules Legislative Committee did not turn in HJR153 so the joint resolution died.

Next the Secretary of State’s office will issue an Amendment number and it will be placed on the general election on November 3, 2026 ballot for the voters of Missouri to decide.

It is very apparent the outcome of our elections impacts our society. It is our privilege and duty to carefully and prayerfully choose our leaders in civil government for our protection and well-being.
The first step in choosing leaders in civil government is a small one - registering to vote! In Missouri alone, it is estimated that there are more than 100,000 Christians who are not registered to vote.
Conducting a voter registration drive in your church or conservative organization is the first step in encouraging people to be good Christian citizens. According to the IRS, church voter-registration drives are well within the 501c3 guidelines.
We want to encourage those of you who are voter registration coordinators to start a new campaign for the following 2026 Elections.
The last day to register and be able to vote in the August 4 election is July 8.
The last day to register and be able to vote in the November 3 election is October 7.
Will you please consider volunteering as a Voter Registration Coordinator!
